These regulations are designed to regulate the telecommunication services, ensure technical compatibility and effective inter-connection between different service providers, lay-down the standards of quality of service to be provided by the service providers and ensure the quality of service and conduct the periodical survey of such Services provided by the service providers so as to protect the interest of the consumers of telecommunications service.

TRAI new SMS guidelines & Impact on Bulk SMS Provider Customers

    1.      The promotional SMS charge shall be Existing Rate + Re. 0.05 (five paisa only).
    2.      No Extra charges for transactional SMS.
    3.      The Originating Access provider may collect the promotional SMS charge from the registered telemarketer.

    Due to the TRAI new SMS regulations, you are kindly advised to give your mail confirmation for charging of 5 Paise per SMS additional termination charge immediately so that we can allow you to send promotional SMS through Bulk SMS Provider Gateway, else your all promotional SMS will be dropped.
